A tradition in my country is celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is on the 15th day of August in Chinese lunar calendar. During this festival, people would eat moon cakes. In addition, during the festival, all family members try their best to go home and enjoy a feast together. Besides mooncakes, other typical dishes for the dinner are crab, duck and taro.

Then it has been a ritual for every family to appreciate the full moon together at night. When I was a kid, I believed that there were fairies on the moon and I could only see them on the festival night.
